CVD Inaugural Event and Fundraiser!

Please join us to celebrate the creation and kickoff of the Colorado Volunteer Doulas! 

Colorado Volunteer Doulas is an incorporated and registered 501c4 nonprofit here in Denver that I founded in July 2019. We are a cadre of 18 trained doulas that support individuals and families through labor, delivery, and the early postpartum period on a strictly volunteer basis. We are currently partnered with Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, Colorado and have served 11 births since our founding. We serve any individual who is in labor at Swedish and requests our services. 

On February 13 from 5-10 pm at Epic Brewing Co, we are hosting a fundraiser. Our goal is to educate our Denver metro area community about our work and to raise enough funds to extend our services to at least one more hospital in 2020. Funds will pay for administrative labor and materials (e.g., printed handbook, training workshops, etc.). 

Tickets are $5 and 100% of the proceeds will go to help CVD fight for birth justice in the Denver metro area (and hopefully beyond!).
